Hello all,
I have tried watching several programmes converted from mkv files to avi then split down to meet the file size criteria for ps3. These have been hd tv programmes so great quality. What I found is that it randomly starts jerking at certain points as if the dvd is scratched or dirty. If you rewind or ff it sometims will start jerking at a slightly different point but generally get worse. If this same file is then copied to the hard drive it plays clean all the way through without problem. Is my PS3 disc drive faulty or does anyone have another explaination? it is a 40gig model.
