I've seen some people on here lament about the end of the war between Bluray and HD-DVD. Some have said that the deals are gone now that Bluray won against HD-DVD... This isn't true. While it seems Amazon has stopped their deals, There was a BOGO at Best Buy this last week... That's at a STORE... 30 bucks for 2 movies, making the prices comparable with DVD purchases...
Sony can't afford to let Bluray slip into the cracks in its fight to become the next format. There will still be sales and specials, it just may be more difficult to spot now that Amazon doesn't seem to be doing it anymore.

Weeeeelllll..... YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD US!!! I'm playing, but seriously what was the deal? I read the fliers every Sunday to all the big stores looking for the deals and I didn't see this one. I even went to my local Best Buy (actually 2 of them) last week and didn't see any BOGO's. Just some discounted Blu's which put them at Amazon price levels. You sure it wasn't just a store special at your location?

I'm pretty sure it's over already... I saw it too late. They didn't label it a BOGO, but they said "Buy 2 of select Blurays for 30 dollars"
The list was on the website, but they showed a partial list, and it included all of the Harry Potter movies, among others.

Amazon might not be doing BOGO deals, but their Blu-ray movies are usually posted somewhere around $20, which is what you would pay in a store for a DVD. Not bad if you ask me.

I have a feeling there might be another BOGO from Amazon soon around Father's Day in June.
