G.T.A was a revolutionary game even on the PSone. What Rockstar did on the PS2 was go from a completely 2d environment to a 3d one. This improved the game play immensely. There's just so much you can do and explore. The environment is huge; the endless run-ins with gangs and the law can have you playing for hours and hours. Rockstar didn't stop there though they even recorded there own radio channels to listen to whilst your driving. Kchat has me in stitches in seconds. GTA VC really is an all-round game. There have been a few imitations recently like True Crime: Streets of LA with Snoop Dog, but they really can't lay as finger on GTA. So here’s hoping the sequel GTA: San Andreas (that's what everyone’s saying) will be even better.

I've got no doubt that the PS3 version will truly rock. :)

Half-Life 2 because it'll be fantastic for all the half-life fans and even if ur not it'll still be alot of fun and i mean fun. Half-Life 2 picks up some time after the original Half-Life left off - with Gordon working for the G-Man - and takes place in and around an eastern European-type city called City 17. Multiplayer with "at least 32 players" will be included HOPEFULLY!!!!!! :D :D

Need for Speed Underground because of all the customization that you can do to your car. It completely changes the racing genre of PS2 racing games!!

Thats been the main problem with the gran turismo series. It's one of the key things they want to include in the next GT game. It's just the car manufacturers wont let them destroy their pretty vehicles

Probably Vice City - there's never really been a series of games with as much variety and replay value as the GTA series. Sure PES3 probably has more replay value in the long-run but all you can do is play football...

Yea it is called GTA:San Andreas. To me the GTA series is about as good as it gets when it comes to 'doing what you want'.

Now that sounds cool! And I would say quite likely, not sure about Subs though. In case you didn’t know San Andreas was the name of the final area in Grand Theft Auto the original. Now that was a good game! Had me in stitches, lol. It was just so wacky. Oh and the screams of terror were hilarious!

God damn, San Andreas look a hell of a lot like Vice City, if you ask me. But damn, the map better be good, and the free-roaming better not restrict me, or else I'm gonna be crapped-off.

Thanks for the map, though heerokenshin, it does give me some idea of what San Andreas looks like, and I am just picturing my character living it up in that fancy 'San Andreas Mansion', for sure.

I voted For N4SU. That game is Awesome! You can beat it five times and still be havin fun. Too me that is what makes a game good. I can't wait for Need for speed Underground 2. It is gonna be somewhat of a mix between the last Underground and GTA's Way of lettin you roam around.

Have you heard of a new eyetoy game called antigrav. its a game where you ride on a hoverboard using the eyetoy. Coloured armbands and gloves are placed on your arms and hands (obdviously) to Put the movements of your body in the form of an on screen character that looks quite like a more futuristic prince of persia.

Next time you say say something like MGS's better than Splinter cell can you please explain why because they are both good games and yes metal gear solid does 'ROCK but splinter cell does not 'SUCK'. It is a very good game. I agree that MGS is better than SP but not by the huge margin that you make out.

Actually this game was a really good well for me, playing this game by yourself can be boring and frustrating, but I played it with my brother and we both had a fun time, no good story or graphics that might be why people hate this game but the gameplay is fun.

I also have to agree with you and previous member PLAYSTATION 3 in saying that CDS2 was a good game. I also played with someone on Multiplayer which i guess made it more fun. Although having four squad members is a bit pointless because:-

- You only use your favourite

- It makes it too easy

It may seem big but now that ive had it for over a week I know exactly how to get some where wen I want to without using the map. I myself thought it was a daunting task but it is actually very easily remembered.

I would say GT4. I have always been an avid fan of the GT series since it first came out. GT4 is going to be so awesome with over 650 cars and 50 tracks. You also can't forget the numberous amounts of customization. This will add tons to the replay value. The only bad thing is car damage, but I do not hold that against the game itself. That is because of circumstances beyond the devs controls. When the car companies won't let you do it what can you do about it?

Actually on the official GT4 forums I have heard rumors that Sony will release a disk in early 2005. I think this will be like an online expansion. They are tryin to buy themselves time to perfect the online mode. I think it would still be well worth the wait.

I think his rationale was that Gran Turismo 3 is considered a great game by many. From all the screenshots and info and videos we are given GT4 looks a lot better then GT3. So he is assuming if you like GT3 you will like GT4.

Yup deffinatly, i doubt the xbox or ps2 could manage them sort of graphics, and theres anoither thing that Valve want to stamp down on, and that is piracy so it could just end up beeing just on the pc...

Why would they NOT want to make a lot more money by bringing it to the console market? Next-gen consoles are supposedly going to be very much involved with online capabilites, so it wouldn't be hard to register the game online, just as they did with the PC. Or maybe they'd decide not to use that at all. I'm sure it would sell like hotcakes, no matter what they do [if they do it] ;)
