I was just not around during the contests and I was hoping maybe I could compete for one, maybe you guys ( design squad) should come up with a new contest. we havn't had one for .......................... 2 weeks . please.

Joining the design team doesn't necessarily require winning these contests. That is not its purpose. The design contests try to bring out creativity in all members of this forum and hopefully it will get members experimenting with different ideas/designs and help to improve your sig making skills. When Nousemercenary feels like we need new design team members he will let you know. If you consistantly show a good range of sig and avatar work which is of a high standard then you could be considered.

Soldier one is the person to speak to about new contests, he usually organises it, but I can't see one happening too soon. We shall see though...

Nousemercenary just pmed me and said that he is going to have a new contest soon. and the winner might get the prize of being a memeber of design squad.

Merc, you realise we already have what is it 6 or 7 design squad members. Apart from that few of us (myself included) have been working on the request forum. I think it's a bad idea to hold a contest for a design squad place, maybe for an icon or something else.

Yes...I know, I just released Affinity though because he has not been online in a while. So there is one more spot open now. I was also just thinking of having another contest just for the heck of it....

In Affinity's defence in one of his posts he said he'd just moved house and hadn't been able to connect to the internet until just recently. So I'm not sure if he should be "released" from the design squad. I'm sure he'll be back on track making sigs now. Perhaps give him a chance to prove himself again.

the house if it helps i may set up one of the ones i do again sometime. now the prize wont be getting in to design squad, mabe looked at, but a icon like usuel. i just need some points before i finaly do.
