Blu-ray/DVD combo Disc's

Ou of interest does anyone know if any plans have been announced to produce Blu-ray/DVD combo discs, as while having Blu-ray discs for the PS3 would be nice, we still don't have Blu-ray players anywhere else in the house, and I doubt we will for a while.

I found some stories on JVC producing some (http://news.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/0,1000000091,39182854,00.htm), but they all are back from 2004.

Not sure this would work. I think the discs are actually different. But at the amount they produce they could actually throw the DVD version in with very little overhead. I think this would really help boost sales.
