Naurto fillers are more annoying for the fact they werent really needed. These bleach fillers are more bareable then the bounto arc so far but they are still fillers so there annoying.
So far they have been ok and there have been a few funny parts, watch the first 3 episodes and see what you think because you will get an idea of the plot from them 3.
If you enjoyed the Bounto arc i think you will enjoy these (also a sidenote Dattebayo have started using a new format for bleach and it looks much better now in widescreen)
The Bleach manga is awesome tho atm.

No, I don't like them. Because in prior Bleach fillers, they loaded the episodes with comedy. I haven't laughed even once yet. Although, the two episodes of the new captain in SS were alright.
But yeah, its only the beginning, so we'll see what happens...

I'm a huge Bleach fan and I have the movie (still waiting on the 2nd one...), all of the episodes so far (up to 174) and all of the manga. I am one of the few that liked the Bounto arc and so far I've thought the new filler/arc is quite ok. I love the intro song and the end song isn't half bad either. I just hate that it will not actually happen in the storyline.

well atleast we all know this is AFTER Hecno Mundo since Chad and the Quincy (cant spell his name lol) both have their new powers. but then can someone please explain some questions... So Ichigo and the gang basicly saved Orhime right? does that mean Ichigo defeated Aizen or did he just escape? im guessing the group just escaped... so then Nel and the others stayed behind?.... HMMMM
but this IS after Las Notches... but still... Filler eh?

When did the fillers start? I'm not caught up because I don't like watching an episode a week, so I'm about 10 behind and I just started again yesterday.

I read the manga as well as watch the anime as I mentioned in my post and can tell you what happens but are you sure you want it to be spoiled? Also, I don't think the filler is supposed to take place after either. Yes, Ishida and Chado have their newer powers but this story takes place kinda like in another parallel universe. It won't count in the real story though. If you want to know what happened (spoilers) after Ichigo saved Orihime just let me know.

Basicially the fillers dont fit in to the main stories timeline what so ever, just think of them as a small spin of series not related timewise to the HM arc.
But trust me after the fillers when it returns to the main story it gets awesome, i know this from the manga.

I finally got to the filler yesterday. I have 2 main problems with the filler, but I still like the show.
1: It cuts off completely and kinda' ruins the story because you know everybody got out safe and everything before the other story is even finished.
2: Ichigo is weak now. Before, he was immensly powerful, and now he can't take out some lame assassin without assistance? Come on, how freaking lame.

For naruto and bleach I read the mangas because the fillers bore me till no end. Not to mention they are for the most part, pointless.

I haven't watched Bleach in a long time. I've got episodes 1-122 with English subs but I can't remember where I left off. I hate the US voice acting.

Yeh if you start watching it again then skip episodes 67-109 cos there horrible fillers like always.
Apart from that the main episodes are awesome and after the fillers when it gets to 110 from there all the way to 167 its amazing, after 167 its more fillers which arent very good but as soon as they end it gets awesome once again ( ive read the manga).
Watch all the episodes you dont remember to remind you, and yeh Japanese sub are always better then the dub!

I'll watch either, but I prefer dubbed for this series (as with most, but there are some I can't stand dubbed.)

I tried that for Naruto, and I stopped like 6 months ago, and I'm still ahead of the anime. I wish they made them into anime episodes faster. The problem for me is that I don't remember where I left off in the manga, but I re-downloaded like 100 volumes in an attempt to start up reading ahead using the manga again, so now I just have to find where I left off..
Where do you get your bleach manga? I'll have a hard time finding the Naruto one I suppose, but I've done it twice before, so I know it's doable, but I haven't looked for Bleach manga yet, so the source would be very welcomed. :-)

Thank you very much. Saves me some time from searching for the same end result. :-)
And, I highly doubt you do, but do you know where the filler took over corresponding to the manga? I don't want to download volumes I've already watched just to search for it, but I will if I have to.

Read from chapter 310 onwards, that just before when the fillers came on so it will help you remember what happens just incase the fillers warped your mind.
I prefer reading it online then downloading it.

Best thing about Mangas are how they get straight to the point, a huge difference between Naruto anime and manga is how they will waste alot of the episode just showing them running and in the manga they will be at there destination much quicker.
I still prefer watching the fights animated tho lol, i find it hard to see whats going on in Mangas.

In the middle of 286 is where the filler starts actually. Took a while to find it, but I found it. :-)

If you want to get the manga you can go to www.bleach7.com and you can download it there without having to register. You can also get the songs, pictures, wallpapers, and more there. For the anime prefer subbed as I hate anything dubbed. I want to hear the original sound. You can use Dattebayo for that. Hope this helps.
By the way, the flashbacks for the manga just finished (pendulom part) and it was pretty good but I can't wait til next week to see the story continue.

I've been using dattebayo for the anime since episode 37. Yes, I remember the specific episode. Thanks for the site for the music though, I didn't have a place for that yet. :-)

I actually use http://www.bleachportal.net for my subbed episodes.
How far does DB go with their episodes? I really don't want to start downloading Flomp-R mkv's when the rest of my collection are DB avi's.
Are the mkv's the same quality as the avi's?
I've got 21GB (Ep 1-122) and it might just be a good idea to replace them all with mkv's or start burning them to DVDs.

Dattebayo are still subbing the episodes and they have now switched to a better format also, to be honest i never noticed any difference between dattebayo's and flomp episode quality (but the dattebayo subs are much much better then flomps translation wise and quality wise). They also get the episodes subbed much quicker then Flomp.
Also Dattebayo episodes are easier to convert in to a format to work on the ps3 (download the divx package so you get the divx converter and convert them to 720p)
BleachExile also has the episodes to download and in PSP format and they also have artwork, fanart and all the OST music downloads, you dont have to pay either. Plus the online manga reader gets uploaded straight away for Bleach and Naruto and you can download it, the forum is excellent also.
Anyway stick with Dattebayo!

As manje10 (http://www.ps3forums.com/member.php?u=44160) mentioned, DB does a better job IMO and now that they've started using widescreen they're that much better. I also like the little hidden joke they put in during each intro and sometimes outro.

So should I stick with .avi's or replace my collection with .mkv's?
