Have you seen the PQ for The Proposition?
I remember start to watch this movie at a party, but there was a lot of talking, so I said screw it. It seemed like a very good premise. This is the Australian western right?

Yeah its the Australian western, lots of good actors and the story is just great. Its a very different style of western. Also Nick Cave does the music.... so thats a bonus too.

I actually have the Proposition in HD saved on my DVR for like 3 months now, but I still haven't watched it. Maybe I'll get to it one of these days. I have The Assassination of Jesse James on BD to watch too. Is that one any good?

Did the release dates of Cloverfield and TWBB get moved up? Amazon has them listed for May 20th instead of June 3rd.

Wonderful... I already bought the DVD not-knowing when the Blu-ray would hit. Whatever.

I never get the DVDs anymore... haven't since late 2006.... only if I know it was shot on SD Film or it will basically never come to HD, like if its something really unknown or whatever. Otherwise.... never DVD. Old TV shows and stuff are the exception since I Have most of the ones I want anyway on DVD..... except for the Sorpranos..... which I'm waiting for.

Well Blu-rays are still a bit expensive although retailers are beginning to lower the prices a bit. But mostly for this one, I heard it was being re-worked and Paramount hadn't announced ANY Blu-ray titles till now. So whatever.

Cloverfield was such a huge disappointment for me :(

It was a great idea but the horrible acting made it impossible to give a crap about the characters and what they were going through. That's a crazy price on The Proposition though!
