Seraphus Y, I'd love to see Jamiroquai. :(

grcswoosh, No Doubt, I liked their first album a lot. God, that's been soo long ago!

I don't really have a thing for Live music, but I've seen a few over the years:

Einaudi - classical music.
Massive Attack - ****ing awesome!
Vonda Shepard [years ago at a festival]
Some German bands - Fantastische Vier, Xavier Naidoo

Been to Reading festival and Womad twice each, but never specifically saw anyone, just kinda went with friends for the atmosphere and drinking/clubbing.

I think I've forgotten something though..

Ya, it was around '98 or '99 at a KROQ show in Orange County. My buddy got me in on a security job (cool yellow jackets), so we got paid to stand around and see a bunch of bands, most of which I didn't like, but they were cool and I really like Pumpkins back then.

They are going to be at a music festival called Download in June...

THUGGEDOUT, that is a long list! What were Linkin Park like?

They put on a really good show, it was outside at night and their stage was just awesome as it was all lit up in the back with moving displays. Chester sang his *** off...

The only note worth band I've seen live is the Sex Pistols, but they where very good.

I'd love to see Rage Against The Machine live (they're in Leeds soon, aren't they?) I just don't have the money, and I'd really like to see GWAR, that's a proper show... Other than that all the band's I like are either broken up or half the members are dead.

I'd have liked to see the Chili's before the Californication album, that's where it started to go downhill, or even when Hillel was still alive, but I hadn't even been born then.

Difficult to remember them all, but here goes:

Bands I've seen

Younger days, a lot of those weren't planned but just played on festivals I attended:

- Pennywise
- Boy Sets Fire
- Reel Big Fish
- Fisherspooner (don't know how that happened)

Guess that's it, but not too sure.
Now, in more recent years:

That's about it, but it's almost impossible I didn't forget a few. Not bad considering my age. Now, bands I'm going to see during the summer festivals (Graspop and Magic Circle Fest), excluding bands who're also in the above list:

What festival is that? I guess Donington as you mentioned earlier. I have a more suitable (for me at least) festival closer to my home though. Graspop, which is frequently visited by Priest, Maiden, Motörhead and the like, is only a 20 min drive or something. Can't say I'm jumping for Kiss either, but as they're at Graspop anyway, I figured I could just as well go and take a look.

Sounds cool, last year we had Maiden, but wasn't too interested in them, this year it's Kiss, Lost Prophets and The Offspring all of which IMO suck, but there is Children Of Bodom, Disturbed and Incubus but even with Incubus I hear they aren't that good anymore...

It's hard for me to see my favorite bands live because the nearest city to me is still a relatively small city. I don't mind traveling a long ways but it goes on a sliding scale of how much I like the band vs. how far I'll drive to see them. So far:
Nine Inch Nails (many times over, actually. flew as far away as London to see him)
KMFDM w/ Pig
Tool
Marilyn Manson
Rob Zombie (crazy insane pyrotechnics, btw)
Slipknot
Skinny Puppy

I really wanted to see Static X but they played on the same night as Tool so i had to make a choice.
