Fox should bring it back. I think they can work on new plots and still use the alien existence to new degrees. I am a hardcore fan of the TV series and of the movie and i am glad to see them making a new movie.

I think they might actually bring the show back, the upcoming films success will probably determine that (fingers crossed). I did read a article yesterday about the film and a comment by Chris Carter, he had said that he noticed that wanted to make X-Files known to the younger generation for those that have never seen it. They ruined one of the best sci-fi shows ever! Let it rest, there is no way they could resurrect it! Create an original show damnit!

As long as the original writers and two main actors come back, I see no reason why they should not resurrect the show. Give it a more up to date edgy feel and the ratings would surely be good - especially after the new movie comes out.

Well it all really depends upon what happens in the movie though.... Since the series would have to pick up where the movie left off.. So if the government discloses alien contact in the new movie at the end, well then they wouldn't have much to do with the series. lol

I don't know man, the original writer and actors were there while the ship was going down and didn't do a damn thing. Plus GA is a little too old now to be hot and I don't think DD would come back for the show at all.
