The new download disc....killing MS download plans?

I just saw this disc today and i guess they just started hitting shelves a few weeks ago. Its basicly a disc you get with your movie, separate from the regualr movie, and you can put it in your computer and it will basicly put a download file on your computer at which can be transfered to your zune, ps3, or anything that will play movies. Just as if you were to go download the movie.

I forgot the name of it....

Anyways this is perfect, i love the idea and once it starts hitting more movies ill be buying them with the little disc instead of just the normal one. Not only that but it came to mind that this could kill off the stupid idea of everything going to downloads. You can transfer it easily to anything you want so why download it? People rather have physical things than fake things.

The only thing download have now are the ease of access but other than that why bother?

What movie was it included with? It sounds like a pretty cool idea. It's only taken them 5 years to think it up, but I guess it's better late than never eh?

i guessing digital copy

i put the digital copy disc from hitman in my pc and itunes downloaded the ipod version

So far ive seen it in diehard, which was why im interested in it, but it was also going to be on the mist, hitman, and a few other movies. I actuelly cant wait for this to get bigger because its a really good idea, this is what sony needs to do with uMD movies to be honest.

I got this when I bought the Family Guy Star Wars Special.(when it came out.)

I haven't download it yet, but will and put it on my Ipod.
