I'm not following...Do you mean to ask, "Is there a way for members to turn off skill points so that they don't recieve any?"

Or do you mean, "Is there a way for members to turn off skill points so no one gets points?"

I can already tell you the Admin can turn skill points on/off in a designated category or discussion.

No, there is no way for you to turn you skill points off.

I'm pretty sure not even an admin can turn a certain member's skill points off.

This would be something that is needed. Maybe an admin can comment on this.

I can do it for you, but I am just going to get admin permission first.

I can do it for you, but I am just going to get admin permission first.i wanted an option for turning it on and off.. But if i did get it off when i still have to follow the skill points rules. like quote tags and stuff like that?

I really don't want to get banned for something like that, like it says in the rules.

Maybe an admin would think about adding this feature into the forum.

So you're saying that you don't want skill points because you do not want to follow the rules ?

If is like that , i don't think so , everybody has to follow the rules , even Mods and Administrators

If you don't want to get banned, just follow the rules.

its not like that. i do follow the rule most time but sometimes when I post news i forget to put the article in quotes b/c this is the only forum i visit that make you do that. I just don't want to get perm banned for something stupid like that.

you wont get banned for something little lke that unless its a repeated thing. if you dont want skill points i dont see why not just ignore them, getting rid of them only hurts you.

thanks for the help guys.

Yep as it has already been said you won't get banned for not putting a quote in quote tags - that's at most a warning, unless as already mentioned, it is a repeated offence. Also we will not be turning off any individual member’s skill points.

That doesn't sound good. You don't have any feeling in your brain! You ought to get that checked out.

well the only thing that I can think of is that you typed your password wrong 3 times which you will have to wait a while before trying again (its a safe guard).

or...

you forgot your password...

KBSMOKER: Leaves site and forget his password
KBSMOKER: Get idea to make account #2 although against the rules
KB-smoker: Now alive decides to open a extremely dead topic tp ask if he could get his first name back

no it went like this....

KB-smoker signed up for ps3forum.... put in fake birth date so after i sign up i had to mail some form because i was careless and put i was under some age limit. both accounts were made that same day... back in 2005.
So i make another account kbsmoker with my real birthdate.

posted here until i got pissed off at the mods and left....

then today while looking for new info about the new f1 game i found my way back here. Try to sign in and it wouldn't let me.

Jasonbay: tries to do backseat modding and looks like a jackass doing it.

Sorry to blow your minds here.

Seems like this place hasn't change much. back to neogaf......

I did indeed make myself look like a jackass because I didn't look at the join dates. But i wasnt backseat modding. I just pointed out what you did wrong and isn't allowed here and thats true having multiple accounts and updating dead useless threads isn't allowed.
