My Death Note Tattoos (half-sleeve)

heres what it looks like after my 3rd session (all line work finished and starting on colors...) finished coloring Ryuk, and BG, Finished Lines for Rem... i have about 2-3 more sessions to finish it completely (colors and everything today took 7 hours for this session alone.)

i have plans for Gurren-lagann stuff too.. on my side... plus a lot of my own art as well... its not so much that its anime... the stuff actually has meaning to me (being an artist and animator myself)

im not the type of person who "grows" out of phases... ill be a punk rock otaku for all my life ... and i can explain my ink to my kids, and grandkids as something that influenced me personally in my life, and in my art XD

it was so cool... i was walking down melrose (hollywood) and had a group of japanese exchange students talk to me about anime... then i showed them my arm and they got all excited.. it was fun takin pictures with them lol. ^_^

and you say cartoon.... i say art... ive been drawing my entire life... ART is the lifestyle... and to get art that i enjoy and art that i draw... thats what its about...

Personally, I think it's better than those wapanese who get random Kanji tattooed onto their arms because it makes them think they look cool.

Where the hell is L?!?! :lol: Only joking, I respect your commitment to your love of art though, also hope you dont mind me asking, how much did that cost, I have no idea as Ive never wanted a tatoo, but 5-6 sessions 7 hours a piece... about 35 hours work there.

L isnt finished... but hes on my other arm XD gonna add the good guys on the other one... (L, Near, Mello, possibly Matt since i like some of the obscure characters as well)

and as far as cost:
for my arm up to now.. about 1000$ and about 300$ on the other arm

well.. im engaged so that wont work XD,

but when i went in for my first session... she got a .38 special tattoo on her hip.... and shes getting another one on the other side of her hip (looks like she has a gun in her belt)

im trying to get her to do a sleeve (i personally think a chick with full sleeve tats is hot as hell) XD
