Ok so im episode 166 right now and was wondering what chapter that would be in the manga?

It should be around chapter 280 probably.

I think the manga and Bleach Episodes are pretty close to each other because the episodes are not that far from the manga.

No, the Bleach manga is pretty far off

Latest manga shows how some of the Vizards were originally captains and vice captains in Soul Socieity

Actually the anime and manga are awfully close, only a few fights and some flashbacks, if the anime team keeps up like that they would catch up the manga in like 10 or 15 episodes MAX, and taking in consideration that each episode uses two or three manga chapters, it won't be long until we get more fillers
