Hey, i know there is a devil may cry anime (no, i havnt seen it), but i was just wonderin if anyone actually HAS seen it, and what do they think of it

Its only good if you plan on making AMV's with it.
Animation is great and so is the fight scenes its just everything else sucks majorly.
Biggest dissapointment in anime for 2007 imo.

Plain god awful, stay away. It's boring, has little plot, no plot progression, no main villain, boring characters that are shallow with little to no development.

It's a 13 episode series with nothing but filler. The contents of the story and what you learn about the DMC universe could have been summed in a couple lines.

I haven't seen it, it was meh. Worth the time it takes to watch, but full of filler. You really only have to watch eps 1 and the last 2.

yep its pretty awesome if u know the DMC storyline from the games. its actually pretty good and addicting

I liked the DMC anime, plus it has Reuben Langdon as Dante in the dub, so you bet I got it.

It is god awful, and I loved the games.


DMC consists of the same crap over and over 12 episodes. No character development, no explaining things, nothing interesting happens. It did absolutely NOTHING for the series or it's characters. Dante was little like Dante.

The show has zero redeeming features. The best thing about it? A demon motorcycle rider =/

I can easily rate it the worst anime - heck the worst TV show - I have ever seen.

The anime is only good if you read the actual novels; half of the references made in it are directly connected to the books. So if you've read the books, see the anime. If not, watch with caution, because you wont get half the story.

It was alright, not the best iv seen but looked gritty and had lots of blood which it should. Wish he would transform in this anime but atlas he doesnt. Dante sure loves his strawberry milkshakes/sundae?

Again, that's something you wouldn't get unless you read the books. Back when Dante was a mercenary, he would drink some beer and have a strawberry sundae to lighten his mood. The sundae reminds him of his innocence.
