Tell us what your most painful injury was. One time I tried to do a drunk cartwheel on a very small front porch and my toes barely caught the edge. to make a long story short I lost a 4inch by 2 1/2 inch chunk of my shin to the edge of those bricks down to the bone. It still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up thinking about it!:pale

This thread shouldn't be about the MOST painful one, because if we post our most painful injury, then we wont be able to post again in this thread because we already posted are most painful injury. And theres only 1 most painful injury. So it should be "Painful Injuries I Encountered" or something like that, thats an example. Because if there was only one, we would only be able to post one time..
Because all of us had multi painful injuries.
So one of my painful injuries was a bad *** car wreck. Were talking hard-core man.

While not the most painful injury it still sorta haunts me...
elementary school out in the yard
I was hanging off the Giant monkey bars and lost my grip
I took a 2 story plunge and landed on my feet straight (a big no no)
the pain was like bolts of lightning shooting up my legs and frying my spine I just keeled over in agony clawing at my back and screaming into the sand

I realised this after I posted the thread but I figured people would list more than one any way. Plus you always forget something and come back later when you remember. Good idea though!

About 2-3 months ago, my dog accidently clubbed this other poodle, so i grabbed my dog by its neck thinking it hurt the poodle on purpose, and my dog didnt think it was me, it thought i was some stranger because i held it from behind, so it turned around and bit a hole in my palm..ouch..

i guess you saw this one coming....yes, i am going to post an injury about the private parts.....
i dont know why exactly, but while i was playing a game (late last year), i suddenly felt a small rush of pain. i just thought i was sitting awkwardly, but about 10 minutes later, i felt another rush of pain, but slightly worse. over the next few minutes, the pain escalated, and it seemed to be coming from my stomach. i rushed to the bathroom thinking it was a very large s***. 20mins later, nothing, and the pain continued to grow.
By now, it was at least 7:20 in the evening, and my dad came home from work, only to find me in my parents bedroom writhing in pain and biting the sheets and swearing a lot. Since i explained it as an abdomal pain, he thought it was appendicitis (my appendix). i told him it was my stomach. after him sitting in the bathroom for 30mins, he asked if i was any better. I wasnt, i was far from it. he decided to take me to hospital, but seeing as it was just a pain, he thought he had time to pick my mum up from work on the way. she(naturally) was very worried. after 20mins of me screaming in pain in the car, we arrived at A&E, where i was immediately sent into a ward. after a few tests (and finding out i was allergic to pills), they moved me into a proper ward. i was given a drip feeding me painkillers and for the next 2 hours or so, various doctors were coming in and testing and so on. Eventually, at about 11:30, they decided to operate. By now they had discovered that it wasnt my stomach, but what had actually happened, was that my left testicle had TWISTED and was now sideways. apparently, i had a 60% chance that my left testicle would have to be removed. i was put under anaesthetic, and that was it for that night (anaesthetic puts you to sleep).
Next morning, i thankfully still had both of them, and was told that it was coiled several times and pulled tight, and was black from loss of blood.
tell me a worse pain than that and i will congratulate you.
ps. they said that ANY man has a 1% chance of it happening. have a good night sleep!
i am 14 btw

My most horrible injury was when I got pushed in Basketball. I pulled up for a jump shot and some guy pushed me from the side and I fell on my left ankle with ALL my weight which resulted in me rolling my ankle really badly tearing alot of ligaments. It does not sound as bad as the above posters injuries but I can tell you now it felt just as bad.

Ten years old in art class at school. We were doing clay modeling and had been given tools similar to pens in size and with a metal groove maker thingy on the end. The metal bit was about (2cm/an inch) long. (I now know these tools to be normally used for gouging leather).
I stood up for a second to get something and then, being a sort of hyper kid, literally jumped back onto my seat.
Little did I know that my "friend" had decided it would be funny to place his clay tool vertically upright on my seat.
My descent was cut extremely short as I felt an almighty pain in the sphincter region and proceeded to bounce around like a Gummy Bear on speed, and shouting oh ffffff ah fffff. I actually remember not being able to say the eff word because I didn't want to get into trouble (go figure).
Amazingly enough, I needed no real treatment, anyway being so close to the hole (about a centimeter/half an inch) didn't leave a lot of room for a band-aide, lol.
It hurt like hell, but being ten years old I was more worried about the other kids being able to see my undies cause I had a hole in my pants.

I realized why they kids not play with knives..
when I was a wee one I was making a small hole in my fridge door (don't ask why it seemed like a good idea the time)
I applied to much pressure and the blade went down
cutting my middle finger at the bottom near the ring finger
I damaged a nerve and sliced a vein
there was blood everywhere but surprisingly it didn't hurt (must be the damaged nerve  )
since then my middle finger is numb at the tip and where it was cut
is sensitive to touch

Yeah, that's unbearable. I just can't stand when that happens, it has happened a loads of times for me.
Just the other day when I realized that my Halo 3 game had already began, I ran to my room as fast as I could. Well well, I exterminated my little toe to the threshold of the room. At the beginning I thought it was fractured, but It doesn't hurt so much anymore.

I had an ACL reconstruction in 2005. It is generally agreed to be just about the worse sporting injury there is. Some doctors wont do operations on teenagers due the mental recovery it requires as well.
I was at footy (soccer) training. Went into a tackle with my right leg, while my left leg stayed planted. I was horribly off balance and as I swung around my left leg didn't move and rather than the knee buckling inwards it went out. To accuratly recreate the sound my knee made, pick up a ruler and snap it. It hurt like nothing else I have ever imagined, I've broken bones before too.
Took me 18 months to get back playing sports again and another 6 months to get my fitness back.
To make things worse. They tear the hamstring in half and feed it through two holes drilled in the petalla, which in turn makes the hamstring incredibly tight. My first HOUR off crutches I tripped on a curb and slammed my foot onto the ground. In turn tearing my hamstring clean through.

Due to a mishap when I was 11 years old, I have no ACL in my left knee, wich was painful in its own rights, but I was playing hacky sack with some friends when it went sailing over my head. I was standing at a bit of an angle so I leapt backwards with a sort of blind karate kick behind me and returned the bag into play. My knee folded inwards, and with a loud snap, crunch sound, I saw a bright white flash. Trashed my meniscus(cartilage) pretty bad. Even still today, if I squat down to far, my knee pops out of its socket. It takes a while to get it to pop back but then it goes numb for a little bit.

I have one to top you all! I ride bmx every day so Im always gettin beat up but never did I dream or think this would happen. I did a bunnyhop 360 and came down front tire first. my feet slid off my pedals and I hit my nuts on my stem(the metal piece that holds your bars to your frame) Of course it hurt so naturally I put my hard down my pants to check the guys out. When I pulled my hand out ther was blood on my hand so I ran to the bathroom and found out I had "lacerated" my sack I had to have a nurse put her finger inside to make sure my nut wasnt messed up. I ended up with 12 stitches and 4 more in my groin. It sucked a big one most def

Oh, and yes, that is how my hands rest, I am not holding my pinky out there, that's just where it sits due to the injury.

Well, this one was surprisingly not that painful, but pretty gruesome...at least for me. When I was a kid, playing baseball in my friends back yard, I managed to impale my hand on a chain link fence. It never really hurt, but it shocked the crap out of me when I saw that spike come out of the other side of my hand. It healed up fine, and without a scar.

I was about 8, I was getting some water in a jug for my dad (who was working on his car). Instead of walking through the front gate, I decided to climb over the wall, it was a mistake. I fell off and smashed my two front teeth on the pavement, ramming them up into my gum (like literally, you couldn't see them anymore). I stopped crying when my mum put a piece of kitchen roll in my mouth. They grew back through but they fell out straight away.
I've never broke a bone or nothing.
Oh & I just (5 minutes ago) managed to do this:

It's my elbow. There was an ice pop stuck in my freezer right at the back, really stuck. I had hold of it with both hands & I had a foot on the bottom of the freezer, trying to yank it out. Lucky I put my foot down just before it popped out (otherwise I probably would have smashed the back of my head on the dishwasher), but instead I cracked my elbow on the freezer door. True, thats not so bad. But I'm sure you'd be as annoyed as me if you went through all that and only got half of the ice pop.

I was climbing a tree to get a football down when I fell down and ripped my thigh open on a stub of a branch, was sick with the pain my mates were ****ting themselves as they hadn't seen anything like it before and didn't know how to help me except calling an ambulance. I was rushed to hospital to have emergency surgery to have it fixed, it was the worst pain I have ever felt......until I found out that the same thigh injury had an infection in it and was eating away at the muscle. I now have pretty much no thigh muscle and have painkillers one step down from morphine, live in constant pain and will most likely never be able to run or walk long distances again. Plus I'm only 18, can't go out without a cane and can't drink alcohol. Plus I have insomnia due to the injury.I would post a picture but don't have a digital camera.
My life sucks :(. Oh well, more gaming time I suppose
Edit: Forgot to add that I also broke my finger the other day by falling over and landing bang on the point with nothing else touching the floor first, so it is shattered, just in time for my exams. Good job I can write with both hands
