Re-Vamping the Anime Section **Important**

This is basically just an open "poll" if you want to call it that were you guys bring in your ideas for what we should do to the Anime section. Now as you know Tuffy has been perma-banned so the Anime Council is going to most likely be dissolved to make way for a new "Anime Hub" basically a thread were everyone can come to talk and get everything they can from Anime/Manga without the need for all this "membership" rubbish amongst other things.

Now I think the this Anime sub-section is being moved to the General section sometime soon hopefully, though we will have to get back to baki, idenowhereiam or Shadowfyre about this because i'm not entirely sure.

Anyway this is basically the jist of it so far, like I said before i'm up for creating the new thread, we even have a new banner for it :p.

Like i said before.. I feel like people stand to get more out of it if it's a sub section.

Tuffy tried doing it like that where theres one big thread, and i always felt like once a conversation was done and buried in the thread no one would ever discuss anything further.

Of course the main Hub should replace this "anime council thread" but this as a whole should still be here.

I know what you mean, before you could make a banner to fill up the entire space but now the length is only 600 it makes it a tad awkward, I can easily remove them or just readjust their positions, the brushes i mean.

Thats another idea that we tried that didnt work out to well mainly (and no offense to him) but tuffy didnt really no about and new anime series that came out or were on the way. I think that should be left SS as he always popped into the council and dropped info in.. If he doesn't want to, I wouldn't mind attempting it..

I'd have to work on it but, anything you need I don't mind stepping up..:D

No, DaveW basically caught him red-handed stealing wallpapers from the net, cropping them, and claiming them as his work. He also literally stole Assassin's Creed from someone on here, but that's as much his fault as Tuffy's. :lol:

I would think galges would be okay, because there is no pr0n involved. I'm not a big J-drama fan either, but I really liked GTO, so I thought I would throw out the idea.

if its not too much work (or with time permitting) could the new releases be sorted into Genre? that way people who like action/adventure psych/thriller dont have to sift through highschool drama/comedy XD

About the genre thing, I don't know if it will be viable because there are so many different genre types. I had originally planned to sort it by airing date since it was upcoming anime list. If you have any ideas how to do it, feel free to throw them out.

What I can do is color code the titles based on similar genres. Like Action/Comedy could have it's own color, as could Romance/School or Drama/Horror.

as far as genres go... you can kinda lump up certain kinds together...

action/adventure/fantasy(serious type fantasy)
comedy/highschool drama/fantasy(comedic stuff)
drama
mecha/sci fi
psych/thriller(horror)

I just been busy that's why. Actually most of the important people that visited this part of the forum have been fairly inactive. HJ, Shadow, Behe..etc..

Tuffy actually deterred activity from this section

I say we have some sort of specific way of creating thread titles to signify they are a part of the "official" group of threads. Maybe formatting the titles like "[AS] Thread title" or whatever?
