Strict Rules?

I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks the mods are a bit anal about the signature sizes around here? The sig below is 5 pixels to tall, because of the shadow it cast (width is fine). Now i don't get why it's such a problem if it is well below 28kb, and in absolutely no way does it conflict with the board and it's dimensions. Most boards don't don't even have size limits and if they do it's normally twice as big. Now i knew that the mods here like locking everyother thread on this board, but does anyone else think this is a bit too much.

I for one would find it a lot easier having more freedom if I had more room to work with. The width is fine. Even another 40 pixels high would be plenty and I could produce better work out of it

Well I think it would be nice to be able to have a larger sigs. I mean I feel quite restricted when designing sigs, but I've got used to it now. I've been on this forum for a little while now and most people have been cool with it. But it is a good point, there should be only restrictions on kb size not how large a sig is. I think you'll have to take it up with the admins.
