This has me enthused for the PSP's debue. If what they're suggesting is true, it'll be like playing a minature PS2. Ofcourse a little less powerfull but still..

Well it seems to have a lot of support by the media an fans alike, so I predict it will sell well. The deciding factor, however, will once again be its price.

yea and thts gonna be a problem. a while back the umm either vice president or president of SCEE said that they are going to get rid of the fee to publishers and developers for developing a game on their system, it was either so the games could retail at a lower price or it was to get lots and lots of developers developing games for it, or both. anyways he said that this means that the price of the psp would be quite high (i think he said around £250-300 and it wouldnt go down in price as fast as most other handhelds do so sony can still make a profit out of the system

hello guys, I'm new here.
Sony have stated that they will not make a profit from the PSP. This is an official statement, sorry don't remember the site, so this could mean that the PSP won't sell for that ´much more than the DS, but you never know, they might loose to much in that situation and the £250-300 mark is more right. (the DS is set for around £150)

We already knew this, the PSP is just to gather more fanbase. Gaming ultima made that comment about making a profit on the system in March, the statement that Sony wouldnt make a profit didnt come till much later.
