Here is a cover design I did recently in class. We had to create a special ediion cover for People magazine in connection with 9/11. Let me know what you think, as I am always open for crticism. It makes me stronger as a designer.

It is very hard to see, or at least on this monitor at school. I have the american flag blended as the BKG of the design. I wish it was more clear to see. Let me know if you can see it OK.

i can see it fine, but it should be brightened and more deffinitive. I can see the hard edge from the eye blended and for a magazing cover it should catch the eye with more color and be solid instead of lowered opacity into a black background

The terre looks really bad. You should try positioning it somewhere else. Like the side of the eye.

This is what i came up with in 5 minutes, its very rough and i could not for the life of me get that terre out, so i tried to add to it with a deeper purple, i dont think it worked.
I like your presentation though, i used a bit of grunge to add detail and destruction to the lettering and narrowed the main focus to the eye, and changed the colour slightly.

This one is very dark and mysterious. The wording catches your eye which is what is suppose to do since its a cover of a magazine. But the purple made it loose some of its more powerful message. You should also make the terre fit into the pic instead of giving it such a string color. I say you fade it a little to fit into you picture. As of now, it just looks Un-Natural.

The eye is a bit pixelated maybe you could have found a better picture of it otherwise I think its pretty good
