If anyone watched death note especially on adult swim on saturday nights at 11:30 ET, were you able to watch it? Comcast said it would be on but it was stupid Venture Bros? Anyone else have this problem?

I saw it was on last night (at a house with Comcast) so it must be a local problem. What I mean by "saw it was on" was that I don't watch the show, and if I chose to, I certainly wasn't going to watch such a short series out of order.

ugh absolutely positively do NOT watch Death Note dubbed... subbed or raw or go home!

no but seriously... VIZ effed up with their VA's... i mean come freaking on... the japanese voices are so amazing... and production value was high... but VIZ went with bargain bin actors... (hell almost the only anime i can stand dubbed is cowboy bebop... hands down best english VA cast.

The Jap voices in Death Note are brilliant, perfectly suited to it.
I'm rewatching the series right now, love it.

I also loved the dub to Cowboy Bebop, i couldn't watch it without the dub. Spike's voice was superb.

i get the same thing, its like "oh! bleach comes on in two minutes" and for like over half an hour this this really horrible junk and im like "wtf!?" lol

but death note is good though, ep 1-5 are the best i think

Bah read the manga instead, the anime did quite a few things right like shortening the yakuza arc, but they screwed up the ending totally.

I read a watched it, i love it. I even went cosplaying as Misa Amane for halloween.

My fave character is Misa XD
