You know I started to write this story (anime-stile) a while ago, I had a good idea of what I wanted and so I created the whole background story, the settings and some characters and then I began to actually to write the story arcs.

I first wrote what came to my mind and later worked more on the introduction, well it was all good and well and I manage to write a few chapters but now is like I'm having some kind of mental block, I can't think what to write next and am finding it difficult to connect some points between the stories.

I was thinking that it was just lack of inspiration at the moment but it has been two weeks now and I still can't figure out what to do next, so I was wondering when you guys are creating something, what do you do to get your inspiration back?

Well i see you are motivated enough to make a thread about it so thats a good start.
Well if i was writing an anime i would most likely watch all the anime and movies that are available in the genre that has to do with my own to help me think of my own ideas and to make sure what im doing isnt too overused.

I'm writing a book right now, and for about the last month I haven't been able to write. But after getting out of the shower yesterday, it finally occurred to me what I could do to have the store flow along and make my characters more human/interesting. Sometimes you just have to take a break, relax, and let it come to you.
