Hey, how's it hangin? Look, I'mma get right to the point. If I play online games, its Resistance. I'm looking to make a clan on Resistance, and I want to know if anyone is up for it? I have a few awesome names in mind, but anyone want to help me out and join the clan? Thanks.

I didn't know people still play Resistence. Do a lot of people still play online?

Yeah, a LOT of people still play resistance online. It takes less than a minute to find, and join a match for deathmatch, and a tad longer for Team Objective matches. Its still really fun to play this online, so you guys should try it out, and join my clan at the same time XD

I got back on Resistance a few weeks ago and never got into a match that had more than 8 people in it. Quite different than it used to be for sure. The funniest part was the people playing weren't very good, so if anyone feels like pounding noobs throw Resistance in for a bit.

There are still plenty playing R:FOM online including me.
The problem is, the rooms set up are so bloody limited half the time, certain guys take the p*ss with the ammount it takes to kill them and noobs constantly glitching & using grenades & rockets as if there was no tomarrow.
It can be very good depending on the game type, weapons available & who is playing.
I think with R:FOM, they are going to have to get a better set up. People like to see the types of room they are going into before they actually go in, and we could do with some sort of communication in the main lobby.
There is so much they got right with R:FOM, but there is also so much wrong with it (online mainly).....and lets hope they have lean & peek with R:FOM2.

If you say Resistence is still active online, I might give it a go sometime.

I have been playing it alot lately, I am having fun.
The one hit rooms are everywhere, grenades going off everywhere, I have not been able to find an ideal room to play in.
I would like to do a regular room but with no nades, and just the Carbine, shotty, and sniper rifle.
I have a ton of clan invites sent to me but I don't know anyone sending them, and they never talk on the mics at all......

The clan invites are from people just trying to get numbers up for a clan, not necessarily because anyone is a good player.
Some rooms can be a pain when all people do is camp back & throw grenades, fire at spawn points & run about firing Rockets.
Unfortunately there are some very strange occurences in the game regardless if its a one-hit-kill room or not.
The majority of the time, I find I can die instantly when I spawn from someone shooting me, yet some people can spawn & run 50 yards before you can kill them.
I really don't know what is going on......are people lagging so bad?
Is it a cheat?
Is it the hit detection?
It is still a good game to have a tear about every now and again.... but it definitely isn't a replacement for a game like Socom or Battlefield.

I have no intention of joining a clan, let alone one where I know no one in it.
I hope SOCOM is not a letdown because that Confrontation really isn't doing much for me right now.
I think the inconsistency is the hit detection. If it was a cheat, then 1 out of every 4 poeple are cheating in that game.

The Socom prologue should not be a let down. It will be the socom we know with the maps we love with better graphics.
Socom4 I have no idea about. Lets just hope its not as glitch ridden as Socom3 or if it is, Europe gets a fix ASAP unlike with Socom3.
I loved socom, but after ZIPPER fiasco with Europe, I haven't bought any of the socoms after socom3.
It is going to take something very good ( glitch free and fully supported) to get me to buy another ZIPPER product...Im just hoping they have sorted their crap out & their next game will be everything I hope for.
As for hit detection, that would make some sense, but when you get one character consistently taking a lot of ammo in a 1-hit-kill room then it is something more than that IMO.

Hey, we're in the process of starting one up in preparatiion for R2. Maybe you would want to take part in a leading role?
