Review:

I've heard all these bad rumors about this game, maybe you have too. But believe me, not all of it is true. People say the Amped series has now officially turned into SSX, untrue.
I've played Amped 2, and almost every SSX game xept for the first. Amped 3 has added a lot of imaginary stuff to the game, like impossible tricks, a lot of Bullsh*t that looks like 70's hippy's style drawings, but the game itself is good.
The graphics didn't amaze me as it's one of the first games on the x360, but they're not bad. I haven't discovered a lot of bugs, xept for when you accidentally or not go ride on rocks, you get stuck in them sometimes but luckily for us there's a reset function. So when you're stuck, you push the select button and you're back on track.
It's a storyline, so you should be able to finish the story really fast. However, I've been stuck 2 or 3 times at one of the storychalenges for like 2 days, so it's not kiddy easy stuff.
Also, when you've finished the game there's still lots to do. Like all the mountain chalanges, and there are a LOT of those!

Gameplay: 80/100 Really easy to do tricks, and learn new ones, the 360 button layout is perfect for this game.

Graphics: 70/100 It's got really nice gfx, but first wave games will be first wave games :)

Value: 70 /100 If you play the game all day, for about a week, you'll have no problems with finishing the entire game in that period. However if you can't play all day, you'll have a good value for your money.

Sound: 95/100 The mouthes of the characters in the story clips are well melded with their voices. The sounds you make when you fall are verry acurate. Also, you can play your own music while snowboarding!

Xbox Live: 50/100 I don't have a live! connection yet, but for the muliplayer capability's: They S*ck! There are like 3 or 4 chalenges that are co-op, and that's it. No more multiplayer! And these chalenges themselves are boring as hell as well.

Overall: 73/100 Don't buy this game if you're out for the most realistic sportsgame on the market. You should go for the football or basketball games for that. But it's a good game to pass the time, and funny at points as well. I'll just say this: you won't get bored.

p.s. this is my first review, so if it's not to your liking, stfu :D

This is the only launch title that I haven't played, so I plan to go check it out soon. Not bad for a first review, one suggestion, if you don't have live, don't review online functions.

Yea, if you don't have Live, probably best just to say "No Xbox Live"

I loved this game, so much that I grabbed all 15 of 15 achievements. I played quite of bit of Amped and Amped2, so I already was familar with how to pull off style and how to do some of the more complex tricks, so some of the harder challenges I shot through with ease.

Getting all Golds was still quite challenging, but fun.

The Story was absolutely amazing in my opinion. It was very classic and wrapped in a lot of today's modern pop culture.

I would agree that the graphics needed some work, but the nice thing was the draw distance was huge with absolutely no pop-in, even when looking all the way down a mountain.

Overall fun game, I recommen most people at least rent it and get to act3 prior to calling it quits if they do.
